Graduate
Seat Unit
405mm deep, 12mm thick plywood/MDF base upholstered with 50mm CMHR cushion and covered with material. A polished, painted or upholstered plywood panel is fitted to the underside of the seat. Counterweight tipping action.
Back Rest
300mm deep, 6mm thick pre-formed plywood inner frame supporting a 25mm CMHR cushion, covered with material. A 6mm thick pre-formed plywood outer back is available with polished or painted finish to supporting metalwork with tee nuts and set screws.
Writing Tablets
18mm thick MDF laminated on both sides with plain laminate. Edges filled and polished. Fitted to supporting metalwork. Other finishes available on request.
Pivot Mechanism
Counterweight tip, upholstered seat supported on pressed angle brackets, securely fitted to base. Nylon buffer and pivot bush fitted to prevent any metal to metal contact.
Front Barrier
Writing facilities are provided for the front row chairs complete with matching facia 500mm deep (15mm thick MDF) fitted to supporting metalwork.
Covering Material
A wide range of covering materials are available.
Upholstery
All upholstery passed BS 5852 Parts 1&2, Ignition source 5.
